Why did you decide to participate in PubhD Coimbra?

To open April´s PubhD session, we had Ana Miguel Regedor, who came to talk to us about “The Right to Migrate: Theoretical Possibilities and Practical Limitations”. Ana is a PhD student in Human Rights in Contemporary Societies, working on the topic of social struggles of migration at CES - Center for Social Studies.

How was your experience in this edition of PubhD Coimbra?

It was very positive. It made me reflect on the way I communicate. Seeing colleagues from other areas presenting in a very didactic way, using schemes, with another type of interactions, was really very challenging. It was great. And perhaps these networks, these connections between social sciences and other areas of science, which have very different science communication styles - and which perhaps have made, I would say, even more investment in this area - bring a lot of learning.

Would you advise other colleagues to participate?

I already recommended it! I already challenged a colleague who came with me. I think it's a great space and I congratulate you on the initiative! Thank you!
