The water in the Mondego river basin recorded, following the great fires of 2017, "a considerable increase in aluminum, iron and manganese, but there is no risk to public health", reveals the study of a team of researchers from the Center for Social Studies (CES) of the University of Coimbra (UC) and the Department of Earth Sciences (DCT) of the Faculty of Science and Technology of the UC.
