In the next academic year, the University of Coimbra (UC), the University of Nantes (France) and the University of Annunzio (Chieti-Pescara, Italy) will jointly teach the new Erasmus Mundus Master in Planetary Geosciences.

Created with the aim of providing students with solid training in a collaborative environment, in an area that has seen a strong expansion in recent decades, as attested by the high number of space missions, the 'Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters' (EMJM) in Planetary Geosciences will bring together innovative teaching practices and methodologies, with a specific focus on the use of new technologies such as virtual reality. Students will also have the opportunity to interact with technology companies linked to the development of instrumentation and services for the space industry.
