Projeto UID/Multi/00073/2019 - Avaliação Final
"A -Relatório Final Aprovado"
"Os objectivos científicos previstos foram plenamente atingidos. Os resultados evidenciam grande qualidade científica, nomeadamente ao nível das publicações em revistas internacionais com referee. O projecto contribuiu para a formação de jovens investigadores e para a projecção internacional da equipa envolvida."
"In 2019 CGEO exceeded almost all target indicators: 80/30 peer-reviewed papers, 25/6 book chapters, 99/35 International conferences, 17/15 MSc theses. The number of PhD theses was not significantly different (5/6). CGEO keeps a good mix of fundamental and applied research, maintaining links with the industry in key sectors related to sustainability of resource exploitation. Patents and prototypes would be an important development for the future. CGEO is an interesting model of regional integration of research groups. The lack of links to the URL of the publications prevented the analysis of the level of integration."

"The Geosciencies Center fulfilled the objectives proposed as presented in the final report. Geosciencies Center continues to be a very solid research infrastructure in the national research landscape, however the results now presented in the present report show little focus on the current and future challenges of sustainability of geological resource exploitation. This shortcoming will increasingly stand out in the future, and requires strategic thinking in terms of facing this challenges in the future."
