University of Coimbra with the best reputation in Portugal

The University of Coimbra (UC) has the best reputation in Portugal in the category "Schools & Universities", according to the consulting firm OnStrategy. For a year, the company surveyed 50,000 people in Portugal to determine the best universities in the country, based on the criteria of relevance, trust and recommendation.

UC ranked first with 77 points, followed by Instituto Superior Técnico, Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de Lisboa, Faculdade de Economia da Universidade do Porto, ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, Instituto Superior de Agronomia, Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa and ISEG - Instituto Superior de Economia e Gestão.

The evaluation was carried out as part of the "Reputation of Brands in Portugal" study, based on continuous fieldwork for 52 consecutive, with online and face-to-face/phone interviews with 50,000 citizens, with a geographical distribution, gender, age and education level that reflects Portuguese society.

In addition to the "Schools and Universities" category, where the University of Coimbra was ranked first, the survey also evaluated the "Arts and Culture" and "Solidarity" categories.
