1) UCare

The Social Services of the University of Coimbra offer the UCare emotional support line, aimed at helping the community to adopt strategies to manage anxiety and time in isolation and to share information about available resources. The service will be provided by the SASUC team of Clinical Psychologists, using computerized means (UCMeetings platform), ensuring data security and, if desired, the anonymity of the user.

All the information is available here.

2) UPC3 | Cognitive-Behavioural Clinical Psychology Unit of the University of Coimbra

UPC³ provides different services for the prevention and treatment of mental illness, aimed at children, adolescents, young people and adults. Besides individual clinical psychology and psychiatric consultations (online or face-to-face), it also offers empirically validated group programmes and treatments.

Due to the close ties with the research undertaken at the Centre for Research into Neuropsychology and Cognitive-Behavioural Intervention (CINEICC), which has been awarded an Excellent rating by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), the treatments provided at UPC³ have been subject to prior research, confirming their effectiveness. The psychotherapists who provide clinical services at UPC³ are specialists in Clinical and Health Psychology (Ordem dos Psicólogos Portugueses) and are certified by national and international associations.
