Language Centre

About Us

The Language Centre (LC) was founded in 2005 as part of the renewal process proposed in FLUC’s Strategic Plan. Among other goals, this Centre strives to revitalise interest in the Humanities field by better adjusting them to the current needs and interests.

Knowledge of foreign languages is especially important in the context of the creation of the European Higher Education Area, which is based on the promotion of interuniversity mobility and collaboration within the European space, among other criteria. Thus, this Centre aims to address old needs that have become more urgent in present times.

The core goal of the LC is to offer language courses with different lengths and formats mainly to the university community but also to the general public. A secondary goal is to meet demands for other language-related services.
