BUSINESS IDEAS CONTEST RISKS C RETURNS TO AWARD PROJECTS THAT VALUE THE CENTRAL REGION
Initiative challenges the community linked to secondary and higher education to submit business ideas by December 4th.
The ARRISCA C Business Ideas Contest is back to reward scientific or technologically based business ideas and contribute to their transformation into entrepreneurial initiatives. There are more than 20,000 euros in monetary prizes, in addition to other rewards, to distinguish ideas that value the Center Region and that have an impact in areas such as Natural Resources and Bioeconomy, Energy and Climate, Materials, Tooling and Production Technologies, Culture, Creativity and Tourism, Health and Wellness. Applications can be submitted until December 4th at here.

• Who can apply?
Teachers, researchers, non-teaching staff, scholarship holders, students or former students, from any higher education institution in Portugal, and students of secondary and technical-professional education (level IV CE) at national level. Proposals can be made individually or in a team of up to a maximum of 5 elements.
• What areas can the ideas come from?
Business ideas, scientific or technological based, must have an impact on areas such as Natural Resources and Bioeconomy, Energy and Climate, Materials, Tooling and Production Technologies, Culture, Creativity and Tourism, Health and Well-Being, and add value to the Center Region.
• What are the prizes?
In each Category (Innovation, Junior Innovation or Social Innovation) you can win:
• 1st Place: €3,500
• 2nd Place: €2,500
• 3rd Place: €1,000
And yet other incredible prizes such as extra monetary prizes and technical support sessions in the most varied areas: innovation, marketing, internationalization, venture capital, business model development, pitch preparation, identification of national and international partners, proofs of concept and connection to I&I structures.
In total, we have more than €32,500 in confirmed prizes for now!

Applications can be submitted until December 4 here.
Communication to the finalists will be in February 2023 and the Prize Giving Session is scheduled for 2/28/2023.
