DCT-UC supports field trip to Serras de Aire e Candeeiros Natural Park (7-8 May)

Organized by the Geoapanhados and with the support of the DCT-FCTU and the PNSAC, the excursion, with 50 participants, will be scientifically guided by P. Proença Cunha and Raul Coelho (Agrup. Escolas Artur Gonçalves, Torres Novas), with diversified contents (landscape reading, geomorphology, stratigraphy , sedimentology, tectonics, hydrogeology, biology, cultural heritage, etc).
Raul Coelho did his Master's Thesis in Geosciences UC on the use of the PNSAC for the teaching of Geology.
