March 14th has been declared as the International Day of Mathematics by UNESCO

On November 26, at the 40th General Conference of UNESCO, the proclamation of March 14th was approved as International Day of Mathematics (IDM). This was an initiative developed in recent years by the International Mathematical Union.
Each year on March 14 all countries will be invited to participate through activities for both students and the general public in schools, museums, libraries and other spaces.
The theme for the 2020 edition of DIM is Mathematics is everywhere.
