Pavillon 1 with a capacity of 600 seats, is divided into the following sports areas:
- The central court has a wooden floor with official markings for Handball, Basketball, Roller Hockey, Volleyball, Futsal and Badminton (3 courts). For training purposes, the center court can also be subdivided into 3 courts with unofficial markings for Basketball;
- The top courts (transverse) east and west on wooden floor with official markings for Volleyball and Badminton (3 courts). For training purposes, each of the tops has unofficial markings for 1 basketball court;
- Athletics Hallways with synthetic floor (3+3 hallways – 60 meter long straight), and a Sand Pit for jumping.
- In the pavillon there are also two sports rooms with the following characteristics: room 1 with 86m2 and a tiled floor and room 2 with 86m2 and a vinyl floor.
Pavilion 2 has the following sports areas:
- Multipurpose room with wooden floor and official markings for volleyball and badminton (4 courts) and unofficial markings for futsal. The facility has a capacity of 75 seats;
- Small gym room with wooden floor, 17m x 9.80m, one wall with mirrors and backrests.
Pavilion 3 offers a wooden floor gymnasium with seating stands for the public (410 seats), divided into the following sports practice areas:
- Central court with official markings for Handball, Basketball, Roller Hockey, Volleyball, Futsal, and Badminton (10 courts).
- Transverse courts with official markings for Badminton and Volleyball and non-official markings for Basketball (2 courts).
The University Stadium of Coimbra has 2 free-to-use Street Basketball tables.
In this regard, we offer the entire University of Coimbra community the opportunity to request and use 3x3 basketballs for free.
This offer allows for the use of the street Basketball tables at the University Stadium of Coimbra. To do so, all interested parties must:
- Go to the reception of Pavilion #2 (*).
- Provide proof of their affiliation with the University of Coimbra community.
- After confirmation and upon presentation of an identification card, a 3x3 basketball will be provided.
(*) Opening hours for Pavilion 2 reception:
From Monday to Friday:
- Morning: 08:30 AM to 12:30 PM
- Afternoon: 02:00 PM to 10:30 PM
Saturdays:
- Morning: 09:00 AM to 01:00 PM
- Afternoon: 02:00 PM to 08:00 PM
Sundays:
- Morning: 09:00 AM to 01:00 PM
The main field covers an area of 8400 square meters with natural grass and grandstands for the audience (2000 seats), and the athletic track, made of brick dust, has a perimeter of 500 meters along the outer edge.
The rugby field covers 8400 square meters of natural grass and features official rugby markings as well as artificial lighting.
The south field (synthetic) is equipped with markings for football 7, football 11, and artificial lighting.
The University Stadium of Coimbra has 5 uncovered fields and 3 indoor fast-surface fields.
The University Stadium of Coimbra has CrossTraining facilities.
The University Stadium of Coimbra has 1 Radiomodelling track.
