Students from Guangzhou University attend advanced training course at the University of Coimbra

The international interdisciplinary "Training Programme in Economics and Psychology" starts on the 22nd of January and runs until the 26th.

The Sino-Lusophone Academy of the University of Coimbra (ASL-UC) is hosting the "Advanced Training Programme in Economics and Psychology" for 20 students from Guangzhou University, China, between the 22nd and the 26th of January.

"This is one of the several initiatives held at the UC to mark the 45th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Portugal and the People's Republic of China, and shows the increasing role of the University in promoting dialogue between communities," said João Nuno Calvão da Silva, UC Vice-Rector for External Relations and Alumni.

Delivered by professors from the Faculty of Economics and the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the UC, the training programme includes field trips to the Pedro Nunes Institute (IPN) and the Proaction Lab - Perception and Recognition of Objects and Actions Laboratory.
