Summary of the work plan:

The magnetotelluric (MT) method is a non-invasive technique that allows us to obtain information about the Earth's interior at significant depths. The main objective is to improve the current 3D conductivity model of Continental Portugal through two main approaches: (1) reprocessing old MV soundings with the latest tools available; (2) incorporate known geological structures to better constrain the model. This will allow us to obtain a better characterization of the resistivity of the subsoil in depth, making it possible to deepen our knowledge of the geological structures of the territory.
