Expert journalist for more than 20 years in enogastronomy, at the same time dedicated to the study of the identity and history of Portuguese food. Director of the newspaper O Comércio do Porto and collaborator of the magazines Visão Viagens, Notícias Magazine, Hei, jornal Expresso, Cuisine et Vins, Wine-Essência do Vinho and of the newspaper Expresso. Currently writer for Revista de Vinhos on gastronomy, Portuguese national artisanal products, and food traditions and landscapes.
