Student Forum on Food History and Cultures

Started in 2014, it already has its 6th edition (2014-2019)

The meeting, initiated in 2014 within the Faculty’s Master's degree in Food: Sources, Culture and Society (and extended from 2015 to the PACI PhD) is intended for the presentation and discussion of research papers by researchers in the 2nd and 3rd cycles or post-PhD education, addressing the multidimensional theme of Food.

It is a privileged space for shared reflection on the work developed and underway, as well as a critical analysis of the contribution that these studies can bring to the professional valorisation of students and, at a broader level, serve to stimulate the cultural, tourist and economic sectors of current societies.

An increased emphasis is given to the approaches included in the areas of Humanities (Literature, Linguistics, History, Art, Archaeology), Social Sciences (Communication, Sociology, Tourism) and Life Sciences (Nutrition, Anthropology).
