FLOWer Lab's paper, "Ploidy effects on the relationship between floral phenotype, reproductive investment, and fitness in an autogamous species complex", has been published in the American Journal of Botany.
In this study, the flower phenotype, the spatial configuration of reproductive structures, and the reproductive investment and success of three cytotypes of Erysimum incanum s.l., a self-pollinating species from the southern region of the Iberian Peninsula, were evaluated.
This article results from a long-standing collaboration with the group of Mohamed Abdelaziz and Jesús Muñoz-Pajares from the University of Granada and is part of a special joint issue of the American Journal of Botany and Applications in Plant Sciences dedicated to the theme "Pollen as the Link Between Phetonype and Fitness".
