Wildfires are becoming one of the most devastating disasters all over the world, exacerbated by the effects of global warming. Researchers and engineers are looking for tools, born from new technologies and artificial intelligence, to support wildfire management. This talk will be dedicated to the development of a novel decision support tool, with advanced fire, wind and smoke spread prediction models, coupled with AI, to support wildfire management actions. This tool was developed within IMFire project. The main findings of the project are presented and discussed and future work perspectives are laid out.
