Missão: Participação de Investigadores do IJ na International Roundtable for the Semiotics of Law

Os nossos investigadores Ana Margarida Gaudêncio e José Manuel Aroso Linhares participaram na 23rd International Roundtable for the Semiotics of Law (IRSL 2023: “Global Semiotics and Everyday Legal Claims /Intercultural Use of Law, Interreligious Dialogue and Translation Ethics”), que se realizou em Roma entre 24 e 27 de maio [ver programa completo aqui].

Ana Margarida Gaudêncio apresentou o paper “Reflexive Notes for a Semiotic Exercise on the Historical and Cultural Geographies of Human (juridical) Right’s Normative Content(s) and Structural Discourse(s)”.

Em conjunto com Anne Wagner, a Editor-in-Chief do International Journal for the Semiotics of Law, J. M. Aroso Linhares organizou o workshop “Spatial Dynamics and Cultural Changes in Contemporary Legal Experience” (Workshop “Wagner – Linhares”), tendo assim participado na plenária de abertura e na sessão de encerramento (com os “reports” dos workshops). No contexto desse mesmo workshop apresentou o paper “Translation, Intercultural Dialogue and the Mediation of Legal Semiotics”.

A primeira participação de investigadores da Faculdade neste importante ciclo de encontros aconteceu em 2008 (data da 7th International Roundtable) .Em 2019, o IJ organizou em Coimbra a 20th International Roundtable (“The Limits of Law”).
