University of Coimbra launches second short course on Ecological Restoration of Rivers and Coastal Systems

Applications are now open for the second edition of the non-degree course "Ecological Restoration of Rivers and Coastal Systems", launched by the University of Coimbra (UC) at the University of Coimbra Campus in Figueira da Foz (CUCFF), to be held from 3 to 7 June 2024.

The course is organised by Maria João Feio and João Neto, UC Department of Life Sciences and MARE/ARNET researchers. The programme includes more than a dozen lectures on topics such as the history of ecological restoration in rivers and estuaries, urban drainage and flood management, or environmental risk assessment in port areas.

This course is 100% funded by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR) as part of the Living the Future Academy project.
