Sixth edition of Cantanhede Innovation Days around the corner
The initiative is organised by the UC and will take place from the 30th of October to the 3rd of November.

The University of Coimbra (UC) is organising the 6th edition of Innovation Days, in tandem with 26 other European partners, including IESE Business School (Barcelona), the Karolinska Institute (Sweden) and Sorbonne University (France).
In Portugal, I-Days 2023 will be held this year in Tocha - Cantanhede, from the 30the October to the 3rd of November, by the hands of the UC R&D International Networks Unit, in collaboration with CNC - Centre for Neuroscience and Cell Biology, Biocant, Hospital Arcebispo João Crisóstomo and Hospital Rovisco Pais.
The event is aimed at university students and researchers, who will be challenged to develop innovative solutions to tackle real-life problems identified by healthcare bodies, all within a 24-hour period. The Cantanhede i-Days will take place in person at Hospital Rovisco Pais, with interactive activities and training focussed on innovation, design thinking and entrepreneurship, pitching and mentoring.
Participants are encouraged to work as a team to complete the challenges. At the end of each day, the best team will be awarded a prize and have the opportunity to attend the 'Winners' Event', the final competition, where young finalists from all across Europe will gather in one of the co-host countries, with travel and accommodation covered.
