SASUC initiative brings the UC community into the kitchen

"Fui ver... era Chef!" is the new initiative of the Social Services of the University of Coimbra (SASUC), aiming to strengthen the bond within the UC community by inviting members to step into the kitchen, cook, and share their favorite dishes.

The first guest will be the Student Ombudsman, Cristina Vieira, preparing a lunch of 'pataniscas' with tomato rice at the D. Dinis Cultural Centre on February 28th. SASUC will provide a dedicated cook for assistance.

The main course will be complemented by a full menu featuring a variety of starters, soup, a dessert buffet, drinks, and coffee. Space is limited, and registration is open until February 26th at https://ls.uc.pt/index.php/323271. The cost of the meal is €9.50 if paid with the UC card or the SASUC Go! app, or €9.75 if paid with an ATM card.

Four more chefs will be introduced this term, one per month. Each will prepare a meal of their choice for the UC community, with applications opening each month close to the date of the event.
