Registration open for Innovation@UC 2023
The event, scheduled for the 5th of December at the São Francisco Convent, will put innovation at the forefront of the debate.

On December 5th, the University of Coimbra (UC) will host the third edition of Inovação@UC [Innovation@UC]—an event dedicated to placing innovation at the core of UC. The initiative is crafted to strengthen and foster multidisciplinary partnerships and dynamic collaborations within and beyond the city. The overarching objective is to promote knowledge sharing and contribute to the advancement of society. The event will take place at the São Francisco Convent, and registration is open to the entire community until December 2nd.
Through short, dynamic presentations, attendees will have the opportunity to explore a variety of projects covering different areas of knowledge, linked both to the University of Coimbra and to external companies and institutions.
The event will be attended by the Minister of Science, Technology and Higher Education, Elvira Fortunato, among other distinguished speakers. The programme will also include the award ceremony of the J. Norberto Pires Prize for Innovation.
Inovação@UC 2023 is organised by the Innovation, Service and Community Relations Committee of the UC General Council, under the high patronage of His Excellency the President of the Republic, and has the support of Coimbra City Council, the Santander Portugal Foundation and Altice Lab.
