Gold, Silver, and Bronze for UC Students at the 2024 World Rowing Indoor Championships

Four student-athletes from the University of Coimbra participated in the 2024 World Rowing Indoor Championships held in Prague on 23-24 February. The event allowed the athletes to compete virtually for their club.
Bruna Parente (FCTUC) is the new World Rowing Indoor Champion in the 21-22 Lightweight Women's category, Pedro Rodrigues (FCTUC) became the World Rowing Indoor Vice-Champion in the 17-18 Men's category, and Marcelo Simões (FCTUC) secured the bronze medal in the 21-22 Open Weight Men's category.
Afonso Santos of FCDEFUC finished 5th in the 17-18 Men's category of this competition.
