European Night of Museums 2024: an invitation to visit the UC
On May 18th, starting at 21:30, some of the University of Coimbra's most iconic spaces will be open to celebrate the European Night of Museums.
The University of Coimbra (UC) joins the European Night of Museums 2024 by opening the doors of some of its iconic spaces for a special evening. The initiative will take place throughout the city on May 18th.
The Royal Palace, the Arms Room, the Great Hall (Sala dos Atos Grandes), the Private Examination Room, St. Michael's Chapel, and the University Tower will open their doors to visitors at 9:30 pm.
On Saturday, all you have to do is show up at the venues, and you can visit them for free. The last admission will be at 11:45 pm. Entrance is limited and will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please note that the UC Tower may not be accessible due to weather conditions. The Joanina Library is not included in the tour.
