Erasmus Students Orientation with the Ukrainian Ambassador to Portugal
The event, with the support of the Coimbra City Hall, the Coimbra Students' Union and the Erasmus Student Network, takes place on Wednesday the 13th at the São Francisco Convent.

The 2023/24 Orientation days for incoming mobility students at the UC will take place next week. The Ukrainian Ambassador to Portugal, Maryna Mykhailenko, is the special guest of the first Welcome Session for Erasmus students, organised by the University of Coimbra (UC), to be held next Wednesday, the 13th, at São Francisco Convent. The event will start at 10.45am and will also include speeches by the Rector of the University of Coimbra, Amílcar Falcão, and the Mayor of Coimbra (CMC), José Manuel Silva.
This event is the first major public initiative to welcome international students enrolling at the University of Coimbra in 2023/24, organised by the UC with the support of the City Hall, the Coimbra Students' Union (AAC) and the Erasmus Student Network (ESN). The event ends with a performance by the student group FAN-Farra Académica de Coimbra.
The session will also include words from the UC Vice-Rector for External Relations and Alumni, João Nuno Calvão da Silva, the President of ESN, Pedro Almeida, and the President of the AAC General Directorate, João Caseiro.
On Tuesday the 19th, at 2.30pm, there will be a second session at the Rectory Auditorium, with a guest lecture by Tiago Reis Marques (UC Alumnum), researcher and professor at King's College (UK) and CEO of Pasithea Therapeutics.
