Bluepharma | University of Coimbra 2023 Innovation Award Announcement and Ceremony to be held next Tuesday

The announcement and award ceremony of the Bluepharma | University of Coimbra 2023 Innovation Prize will take place next Tuesday, the 11th of June, at 11 am at the University of Coimbra Senate Hall.

The ceremony will be presided over by the Rector of the University of Coimbra, Amílcar Falcão, and attended by Bluepharma's CEO, Paulo Barradas Rebelo; the President of the Award Jury, Professor Fernando Seabra Santos; and the team that developed the winning project.

The Bluepharma | University of Coimbra Innovation Prize rewards innovative scientific research of excellence in the field of health sciences. For the 2023 edition, a prize of 20,000 euros will be awarded, with a potential additional investment of 30,000 euros if the project's marketability is confirmed.

The criteria for selecting the winning project are merit, originality, innovation and high potential to transform scientific projects into products or services of real interest to society.
