The UC Social project will run the course "Creation of Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship Projects", with the aim of training students to prepare and implement social entrepreneurship projects in non-profit institutions.

The course will run from 21 November to 13 December, at the Student Hub. The programme, with 12 hours of training, has five sessions with content linked to social entrepreneurship, social innovation, construction and management of social projects and soft-skills linked to communication.

This training arises in the context of UC Social that aims to give students the opportunity to build social entrepreneurship projects that meet specific needs of Private Institutions of Social Solidarity of the city of Coimbra. In this sense, it is essential to have adequate training in these areas, making it possible to build social projects capable of creating value in society and enhancing the transfer of knowledge in the areas of social sciences and humanities.

The course is aimed at all students of the University of Coimbra.

Enrolments are open until 17th November.
