Brief description:

There are many moments in a researcher's life when they will need to communicate with peers: from formal presentations at conferences to research group meetings, discussions in journal clubs and seminars, meetings with their supervisor, and so on.

Science communication skills have an impact on a research career and can increase a researcher's credibility and visibility within the institution, allowing them to share why their work is important and to interact with others in order to clarify and disseminate their research.
