Brief course description:

M16: Meta-analysis is a quantitative methodological approach that allows the aggregation and comparison of results from related studies in a systematic way. The focus of this module will be to discuss the various steps and fundamental concepts of a meta-analysis, using multiple packages available in R software. We will address concepts such as fixed and random effects models in a meta-analysis, the evaluation of heterogeneity and publication bias (it is recommended to attend the module M4 of introduction to R).
