Aims:
The aim of this course is to provide the students fundamental and translational knowledge on metabolism, besides integrating a holistic approach to the interactions between metabolism, environment and disease from a trans-disciplinar angle. Innovation and technology transfer will also be approached here, showing how fundamental research in cell metabolism can generate a potential for value creation.
Students will be challenged by multiple-views of the same biomedical problema and will be invited to build their own business plan or public policy idea.
