Applications open for the 3rd edition of the UC programme "Seed Projects for Interdisciplinary Research"

Researchers from R&D Units of the UC Group who have obtained their doctorate after the 1st of January 2012 may apply for this funding.

Applications for the 3rd edition of the funding Programme “Projetos Semente de Investigação Científica Interdisciplinar”/ Seed Projects for Interdisciplinary Research run from the 1st until the 28th of February.

This funding programme, worth 100,000 euros, is promoted by the Institute for Interdisciplinary Research of the UC (IIIUC), with the support of Santander Universidades, and its main objective is to "support interdisciplinary research projects with the potential to obtain relevant knowledge for the development of new lines of research that cross areas of knowledge, within the scope of the Strategic Areas of the University of Coimbra (AEUCs)" - which bear in mind the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 United Nations Agenda.

Researchers from R&D Units of the UC Group who have obtained their doctorate after the 1st of January 2012 may apply for this funding. The research team must be composed of members of at least two R&D Units of the UC Group, from different scientific areas, and comply with the principle of diversity.
