3rd CASSINI Hackathon | May 12th to 14th | Open applications
IPN - ESA Space Solutions Portugal is one of the 10 European organizers of the third edition of CASSINI HACKATHONS!
This event challenges entrepreneurial people, linked to technology, tourism, data and business to respond to one of the 3 challenges launched by the European Commission to (Re)Visit the European Union Tourism:
- #1 seek sustainable destinations,
- #2 experiencing cities and cultures, and
- #3 explore nature with care.
The innovative solutions to be developed must incorporate geospatial information from Copernicus Earth observation data and its services and/or positioning technologies from Galileo & EGNOS.
The event will take place from 12 to 14 May 2022, in a hybrid format from the IPN facilities in Coimbra. Those who participate can be with us at IPN or remotely. A group of experts from IPN and the local partnership will continuously support the teams in developing their solutions. There are several prizes for the winning team: 1k in services purchase, 3 months of virtual incubation in the IPN incubator and mentoring given by IPN and F6S; everyone who participates receives a merchandising kit related to the event.
