Noite Europeia dos/as Investigadores/as 2022
The European Researchers' Night (NEI) Coimbra 2022 was once again organised by the Institute of Interdisciplinary Research of the University of Coimbra (IIIUC). This edition had about 2500 visitors (counted through the users of the WebApp created especially for the event). The WebApp had 2503 entries and a total of 13700 views.
NEI 2022 in Coimbra had 26 R&D units, 3 Associated Laboratories, 3 Museums and Science Centres, 6 Cultural Entities and Services and 32 Merchants & Shopkeepers of downtown Coimbra. There were 391 researchers involved, 251 female and 128 male, and 38 PhD students as Volunteers.
The NEI Coimbra 2022 hosted 30 hands-on activities, 32 Demonstrations, 4 Guided Tours, 29 games, 8 School visits in the region of Coimbra and 1 Documentary.

Before the European Researchers' Night you can visit the cycle of exhibitions "What is researched at the UC?" with the Centre for Mechanical Engineering, Materials and Processes (CEMMPRE) and the Institute for Sustainability and Innovation in Structural Engineering (ISISE) at CoimbraShopping between 16th and 29th September.
