Science workshops attract the interest of young students

The two science workshops held at the Cantanhede School Centre, part of the "Scientists return to school" programme, aroused the curiosity and interest of the 4th grade students. Cláudia Cavadas, researcher at the Centre for Neuroscience and Cell Biology at the University of Coimbra (UC) and vice-rector of the UC, posed many questions, such as "why can't we live to be 200 years old?", "is there a cure for Alzheimer's disease?" or "have you ever made a laboratory explode?
