In the Strategic Area “Health”, the aim is to aggregate and enhance basic and translational research that crosses several areas of knowledge with the capacity to generate new knowledge of excellence to face challenges and factors related to health, contributing to the understanding of diseases and health, improving the average healthy life expectancy, and designing sustainable approaches to digital transformation and the provision of integrated and accessible health and care services for all populations. The areas of intervention are focused in the following topics: - Lifelong health - Diseases associated with aging - Environmental and social determinants of health - Noncommunicable Diseases, Rare Diseases, Infectious Diseases - Advanced, technological or digital therapies, tools, technologies and solutions for health and care, including personalized medicine - Global Health - Health Systems
