PolinizAÇÃO: a new project with the involvement of FLOWer Lab

The Action Plan for the Conservation and Sustainability of Pollinators - PolinizAÇÃO, is a project financed by the "Fundo Ambiental" with a duration of 2 years. Coordinated by Sílvia Castro and João Loureiro, teachers and researchers at the Center for Functional Ecology - Science for People & the Planet of the Department of Life Sciences - UC (University of Coimbra), the project aims to counter the decline of pollinating insects!
In close collaboration with the polli.NET Collaborative Network, PolinizAÇÃO will identify and implement concrete conservation and social awareness actions about the importance of pollinators in biodiversity and food production.
