“Os Rapazes dos Tanques”, photography exhibition by Alfredo Cunha

By Alfredo Cunha, the exhibition Os Rapazes dos Tanques offers exclusive images of the men who faced each other at Terreiro do Paço and Largo do Carmo on April 25, 1974. The photographs of Alfredo Cunha, one of the great Portuguese photographers, allow a return to the past of the Popular Revolution that paved the way for the democratic transition in Portugal and revisit a range of faces of tension, hope and joy.

The exhibition will be on display at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Coimbra (FEUC) between April and June 2023. This exhibition is part of FEUC's 50th anniversary celebrations.
