Open Day at FEUC
FEUC holds the 6th edition of the Open Day on April 22
Next Friday, April 22nd, the Faculty of Economics of the University of Coimbra (FEUC) promotes the 6th edition of the “Open Day”. The session will take place in the Faculty Auditorium and around 250 participants are expected, mainly students from schools across the country.
After the success of the five previous editions, FEUC returns to carrying out this initiative in a face-to-face format. In addition to opening the School to the pre-university public with the aim of making FEUC's training offer known, the "Open Day" consists of a set of activities that aim to make known the teaching and learning dynamics of FEUC, its areas specialty and their strengths.
The welcome session starts at 10:00 am and counts with the intervention of the Director of FEUC, Álvaro Garrido.
At 10:30 am, the Thematic Parallel Sessions are held, organized by each of the Knowledge Areas taught at FEUC (Economics: “Learning Economics in Coimbra, economic simulation games”; Management: Presentation of the Degree in Management, Lecture: “Entrepreneurship in 2022 : what is the importance of creativity and marketing?”, with the participation of the Management Students Nucleus; International Relations: “Learning to interpret the world: studying IR in Coimbra”, “What does an 'internationalist' do?” , and the Simulation Game: 'Pick up your suitcase and run away!', and Sociology: “Studying Sociology in Coimbra: What? How? Why?”, “We live in a "pandemic society": What now?”).
In the afternoon, starting at 2:30 pm, there will be a thematic Geocaching (Economics, Management, International Relations and Sociology). At the end of the Open Day, there will be the performance of the Choir Quecofónico do Cifrão (Tuna da FEUC).
