Mil Folhas, FEUC library bulletin (nº6)

On October 3rd, the launch session of number 6 of MIL FOLHAS took place. This issue has several contributions from authors of recognized cultural and scientific merit. It highlights the texts of the Banco de Portugal librarian, Sofia Néo, who elucidates the reader about the information resources that can be found there, as well as the contribution of Maia do Amaral, from the General Library of the University of Coimbra, author of a statement focused on in the "old book".

In number 6 of Mil Folhas there are also four important essays by FEUC professors – José Reis, Carlos Fortuna, João Lisboa and José Manuel Pureza –, all of them with the purpose of reflecting on books, authors, themes, which throughout the The last 5 decades have marked the four main disciplinary areas of FEUC: Economics, Sociology, Management and International Relations. This edition also includes the usual section of suggestions for reading from other FEUC professors.

MIL FOLHAS promotes an open reflection on the place of libraries, books and reading.
