As part of FEUC's 50th anniversary celebrations, we present the third Reading Club video. Sílvia Portugal comments on the book " Invisible Women ", by Caroline Creado Perez.

Invisible Women (Caroline Created Perez)

Imagine a world where cell phones are too big for your hands. Where doctors prescribe the wrong drugs for your body. Where, in a car accident, you are 47% more likely to be seriously injured. Where, each week, your countless hours of work are not recognized or valued. If this sounds familiar to you, chances are it's a woman.

Invisible Women shows us how a world largely built by and for men systematically ignores half the population. These pages expose the gender bias that is at the root of the discrimination that affects women's lives every day.
