Interview with Madalena Duarte, PhD in Sociology from the University of Coimbra, Researcher at the Center for Social Studies and Assistant Professor at FEUC. Her research interests include sociology of law, feminist studies, gender violence, human trafficking, criminology, and social movements. She recently coordinated the research project Homicide in Intimate Relationships: Challenges to the Law. One of her most recent books is entitled The Role of Law and the Courts in Violence against Women (Coimbra, Afrontamento, 2023).
