FEUC professor and students awarded at the XXII Grudis Conference

The Order of Certified Accountants instituted the «AMR Prize», with a pecuniary value of 500 euros, which aims to recognize the best academic papers presented at the Grudis Annual Conference and whose authors are interested in publishing them in the «Revista de Contabilidade and management".

The works «Smoothing bank earnings: the gender effect of the board of directors and the impact of periods of crisis», by Liliana Marques Pimentel and Ricardo Joaquim and «Practical assessments on the use of financial derivatives as risk management tools», by Ana Catarina de Paula Leite, Liliana Marques Pimentel and Ricardo Joaquim were awarded the “Best Papers Award” in this year's edition held at FEUC, on the 27th and 28th of January.

These articles are related to the master's dissertations developed by the students Ricardo Joaquim and Ana Catarina Leite, within the scope of the Master in Accounting and Finance and who are currently attending the PhD in Management at FEUC.
