The Workshop "Science and Public Policy: how to build bridges", promoted by PlanAPP - Competence Center for Planning, Policy and Foresight of the Public Administration, in conjunction with CeBER, will take place on May 31, at FEUC. The workshop is intended only for previously registered participants.

PlanAPP is a state agency recently created to support the definition and implementation of public policies and prospective analysis. As a frontier organization that acts as a knowledge broker, PlanAPP seeks to improve the policy-making process through evidence-informed public policy. These workshops are part of a set of initiatives aimed at the scientific community that, together with other initiatives, contribute to promote a culture of science for public policy. Other initiatives seek to raise awareness among the policy-making community about the importance of scientific evidence in some decision-making processes.

These Workshops, taking place in several cities, contribute to bringing Science and Public Policy closer together in the construction of evidence-informed policies.
