On May 26th, at 7pm, in the Keynes Room of FEUC - Faculty of Economics of the University of Coimbra, the MBA-FEUC Club will hold an MBA Talks on Investment Funds, with Tocha, an investor in Olisipo Way, as speaker.

The presentation will provide an overview of the venture capital industry, including what it is, how it works and why it exists. The presentation will then address the different types of investors in the venture capital industry, including angel investors, early stage investors and advanced stage investors.

The different stages of the venture capital investment process will also be addressed, including identifying opportunities, carrying out due diligence, negotiating terms, monitoring and exiting investments.

The speaker will expound on the financial rationales of venture capital, including the structure of a typical venture capital fund, the types of returns investors expect, and the different ways in which venture capital firms generate returns for their investors. .

There will also be an opportunity for a brief discussion on the future of venture capital, including emerging trends and changes in the industry.
