The working group for the study of the law of oil is the result of the “Prémio Lopes Praça”-funded research project that culminated with the publication of a monograph on the legal regime of the various activities involved in the oil production, with a particular focus on the Portuguese legal system, in the framework of the main legal challenges it faces in a global context. Special attention is given also to the recent legal changes in Portuguese-speaking countries like Brazil, Angola and East Timor.
