UCILeR researchers participate in a ground-breaking European initiative for circular economy

The University of Coimbra (UC) is taking part in the CHEERS4EU project, which focuses on creating "Circular Hubs" and promoting the circular economy through inter-regional cooperation and innovation, targeting different sectors of activity.
Circular Hubs serve as an engine for European regions to promote a circular economy based on sustainable values. CHEERS4EU, which will run until 2028, is the first INTERREG EUROPE project to focus on this theme, involving several European partners and associates from seven countries.
