The Project "World Cities Day - The right to citizenship and culture", promoted by the University of Coimbra Institute for Legal Research (UCILeR) and the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra, was formally presented at the College of Trindade on September 30. This event was attended by the project team, teachers from schools of Coimbra, and also by José Carlos Mota, Professor at the Department of Social, Political and Territorial Sciences, University of Aveiro.

The " World Cities Day - The right to citizenship and culture " project intends to debate the cities of the future - more sustainable, inclusive, and preservation of our heritage - with students and teachers from schools of Coimbra. For this purpose, the contest "Right to my City" will be organized with the schools. This contest will have an artistic expression and a reflection component about the city based on themes researched at the University of Coimbra, and from the perspective and imagination of the young people involved.
