Mission out: UCILeR researchers participate in International cCngress in Brazil

Our researchers Maria João Antunes and Cláudia Santos participated as speakers at the 14th International Congress of Criminal Sciences - "What is the future of criminal law? What is the criminal law of the future? Technology, communication, media and society". Maria João Antunes participated with a paper on the protection of the right to inviolability of communications in criminal proceedings and Cláudia Santos with a paper entitled "The non-consensual dissemination of intimate content and the criminal protection of private life".

The conference, which was held between 30 August and 1 September 2023 in Porto Alegre (Brazil), was organised by the Instituto Eduardo Correia (IEDC), Programa de Pós-Graduação Ciências Criminais da PUCRS (PPGCCrim) and Instituto Transdisciplinar de Estudos Criminais (ITEC).
