MediMARE Project Meeting

The MediMARE Project, coordinated by the University of Coimbra Institute for Legal Research, has met in Trondheim, on March 22nd and 23rd. The meeting aimed at accessing the project’s current situation, evaluating the project’s route and current status and to planning future activities. The Norwegian partners from NTNU Samforsk received representatives from the Portuguese partners of University of Coimbra Institute for Legal Research, the Polytechnic of Leiria and Nova University of Lisbon.

Besides internal work meetings, the MediMARE team also made a public presentation of the project, and an external visit to Trondheim Maritime Museum, which will be a partner in the final Dissemination event of the project.

Financed through the Blue Growth Program from EEA Grants, the MediMARE Project plans for the following months the following activities: the online course, the presential intensive course and the Project final dissemination event, from June 31st and July 1st. The team that represented the UCILeR in the MediMARE meeting was formed by Dulce Lopes, project coordinator, Fernando Borges and Roberta Donato.
