First UCILeR Researchers' Camp concluded
The first Researchers' Camp, organised by the University of Coimbra Institute for Legal Research (UCILeR), took place between 6th and 9th February 2023. This intensive training included a combination of expository sessions (how to publish, research careers, how to organise a project and responsible research) and more interactive sessions (open access escape room, competition for research projects, research wars, workshop on stress management) to enable participants to have more knowledge and success in their research path. The Researchers' Camp was highly sought after and quickly reached its maximum capacity of 30 participants. From the competition for young researchers' projects, two projects were selected, which will be carried out throughout 2023 by teams formed during the Researchers' Camp:
- Energy Communities in Portugal: a roadmap for energy citizenship in urban and rural environments;
- Artificial Intelligence and Maintaining Public Order: impact of the proposed regulation of AI in Portuguese Law.
The closing session was presided by the Vice-Rector for Research, Dr. Cláudia Cavadas.
